Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) is an independent satire and commentary publication. We blend political humour, plain-language explainers and youth-culture analysis into a digital magazine for the extremely online.
What we do
We publish explainers, satire, opinion pieces and long reads about youth issues, media literacy, political theatre and internet culture. Our goal is simple: talk about politics the way young people actually talk, honestly, sharply and with jokes.
Why a cockroach?
Cockroaches survive everything. The name celebrates everyone who feels stepped on by the news cycle but keeps showing up anyway. Our motto says it best: small creatures, big conversations.
What we are not
CJP is not a registered political party and is not affiliated with any political organization. Our content is commentary, satire and general information. Please read our disclaimer for details.
